Umbicell-BMC™ is a point-of-care device for safe and rapid preparation of bone marrow concentrate. Bone marrow aspirate is a rich source of Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs), cytokines and growth factors. Concentrating the aspirate with Umbicell-BMC™ helps concentrate these viable MSCs, growth factors and cytokines.

Umbicell-BMC™ allows clinicians to obtain concentrated bone marrow within 25 minutes using a one-step gel separation technique, and can concentrate 42 cc of autologous bone marrow aspirate in one centrifugation.

Complete kit

The Umbicell-BMC™ kit contains a gel tube and all necessary accessories, from aspiration to concentration of bone marrow.

The entire process is performed in a closed system to maintain sterility at every stage.

Single centrifugation

Uses a single-spin technique, achieving optimal separation and bone marrow concentration in 20 minutes at 4000–4300 rpm.

175 micron filter

The filter provided in the kit efficiently removes larger debris such as fat cells, bone fragments and clots.

Aspiration needle

Five holes at the distal tip for better aspiration, graduations for precise depth control during sampling, and a rotating locking system for secure, controlled aspiration.

VacLok syringe

The VacLok 30 ml syringe efficiently collects bone marrow aspirate. Its unique design holds negative pressure without accidentally disengaging, with large wings and a skid-resistant thumb pad for easy grip and control.
